May 28th, 2015: The End

by Sara on May 28, 2015

We pulled into the marina the next morning and met with our broker. This really is the end. We have 2 weeks to get all our junk off the boat and get it into ship shape. The broker was greatly impressed at how well she looked which we knew was the truth. She’s in great shape and after Chris gets the generator back up and working, all systems will be a-go.

We sailed 30,335NM in 3.5 years. We visited 39 different countries and hit 110 different islands/land masses. Epic. Tumbleweed was good to us and we will miss her greatly. I already can’t wait to do it again.

We to are sad to see it end, we followed your adventures and blogs all the way. We would pull up maps and read about the places you have been. It was as if we were traveling with you. Thank you for letting us be a part of the adventure.

Mr. and Mrs. Porto, Thank you so much for following. We loved having Kevin onboard and loved knowing that we had your support back home. Finley’s doll is STILL one of her favorites and is a MUST for going to bed. We all can feel your love from here. Hugs and please stay in touch! xx
